White Fence Farm in Lockport

White Fence Farm has been a favorite for generations in my family. You can get take out but it really is a great place to visit! Start at the petting zoo and move inside where every room has a different theme. The fried chicken, of course, is awesome but dont miss the hush puppies and condiments. I love the kidney bean salad and beets.

The chicken is very good here, crispy and lightly breaded. They also have awesome corn fritters, good steaks and mashed potatoe. The restaurant is set up like a museum, lots of cool things to look at. So if you're planning to come here, make sure you set time aside to walk around and check out the restaurant. If you don't want to deal with the crowds, they have a carry out section in back of the building near the water tower.

There's nothing like White Fence Farm for chicken. You get many unlimited sides with your meal. My favorite are the corn fritters. YUM. Many, many antiques and collections that people have donated. An old car museum. Slot machines. So many rooms to eat in. Each one quaint and homey. Wait is not long because there's so much seating. You'll love it and the price is reasonable. Also a petting zoo for the kids.

They offer a fantastic range of delicious food. I like eating here. The employees are always very kind, pricing is convenient and the place is always well organised.

I should have gotten the chicken since that is what they are known for but I got the fish I was not impressed. The sides made up for it though! You get all the sides and there is plenty to share. Having it family style made it a unique experience. Great for a group of 4 or more. Did not get to see the museum or the farm but love that everything is grown from their own farm. Still has a nice old fashioned look to it

We ate here as a curiosity while traveling through the area. Used to hear their radio ads all the time. The ambiance is antique, but not in a particularly pleasing way. It just looks dated and might have appealed to the senior crowd back in the day, but not so much anymore. The food was ok but nothing special. I've had better chicken at a local bar back home. Portions are small and controlled. The chicken drumsticks were the tiniest I have EVER seen! The mashed potatoes are instant, not homemade! The homemade gravy was corn syrup and bouillon...yuck! The baked potato was very good. Service was good. Will not be going back, especially at tourist prices.

Last week was our first time in this good restaurant. But It is surely not the last. We passed a splendid evening with the good service, with the high quality food and fine drinks and with the honest charge. We will surely come back again.

I really enjoyed their food. I always get good customer service here. The place is always clean and the cashiers are always very kind. Highly recommended.

We have been going here for over 20 years. It is served family style and the whole experience is great. Be prepared to wait to be seated on holidays, but know there is a bar and a mini museum to keep the family occupied during the wait.

WFF has been serving outstanding fried chicken for decades. This is not just a restaurant, it's an experience, a place to make memories. Lots of larger parties come to share a good time. They serve their chicken family style so dinners are able to pick the pieces they enjoy most. My wife and I both enjoy the breasts but they would not allow any substitution to add an additional breast, "they were too busy". That's what 4 starts instead of 5. I feel it was a bit pricey at $72

Service was terrible. I waited about 50 minutes for my order at the pre-pay orders pick up area. They kept saying my food would be out soon but time just went by. Then when they brought my food out the worker was very rude. Never order online you’re good will be cold.

The food is absolutely delicious! The prices are great. The starters you receive are all you can eat. The chicken is hot and crispy. If you go on your birthday you can get $5 off your bill. They do not accept reservations for groups smaller than 8.

Two visits;once for dinner and once for brunch. Both times were amazing. The place has beautiful contemporary and modern decor.Our service has been spot on with outstanding recommendations by staff. That alone makes a special experience.

Best place for fried chicken in the bolingbrook area. Always go there for my birthday dinner. A lovely homestyle atmosphere with cool decor. The corn fritters are amazing (even the day after as leftovers). Plus after eating there are games for both kids and adults and a petting zoo.

It's a landmark and a museum and a tradition. I've always loved the antiques, the petting zoo and the place itself with its many wonders. However, I wound up at a luncheon in Schaumburg the next day, and Chandler's mashed potatoes and fried chicken managed to outdo WFF for flavor.

One of the best fried chicken I've had. The breading isn't the most flavorful, but the gravy and the sides make up for it. Cooked perfectly. Don't forget to feed the animals!

Food and atmosphere was beyond amazing. Never been there before and happened to see it as we drove by. The absolute best chicken and sides. Family style dining with a look back in history. I was speechless when I took a bite of the corn fritters. I will recommend this place to everyone I know.

OMG Don't know where to start. Chicken is amazing and the corn fritters are heaven in a bowl. Service was wonderful. Our waiter would bring us drinks and Corn fritters without asking . I love coming here .over 40 years. The goats, chickens and alpacas were adorable.

I'm not big on fried chicken, but this place is tasty. My favorite though are all the sides you get. I fill up on those and have chicken leftover to take home so it's really two meals for the price of one.Aside from the food, the restaurant itself is fun to explore. Each room is a bit different and have some cool items to check out. Plus, they have a small museum with items from cars, dolls, I believe spoons, and more. It's fun for children and adults. Then when you are done head to the petting/feeding zoo and play with the animals. Overall, it's a great meal and offers some entertainment for all ages.

Going to White Fence Farm during Christmas time is like visiting a Hallmark movie set. Enchanting. The staff was welcoming and professional. The food, and the four of us all order something different was good. The sides were fresh and tasty. Enjoyed those the most.The ribeye steak, although tender enough, had no char and was rather bland.The chicken was a bit overcooked. Fried fish was good. And the person who had the pork chop liked it.I thought that this place would be a perfect spot for a Christmas festival. Hallmark style with booths and a Christmas tree lighting.

This is comfort food at it's finest. The look and feel of this place takes you back in time. You can easily stay entertained while waiting for a table by viewing the many random objects and clocks. Each meal is preceded by cottage cheese, bean salad, corn fritters, and beets. They will refill these items without question. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. The food was perfect and you will get a large serving. No one goes home hungry from this place. I would like to see a couple healthier options on the menu, but that is not what you come to this restaurant to experience. This is a great place that is priced right. It is a cool place to take friends from out of town to give them a unique experience. Been here many times with large family groups. Always great service and great food. Great for all ages, museum, chickens to feed etc.

The corn fritters to start are always amazing and you can't go wrong getting the chicken OR the steak. Getting 2 chicken strips and a small sized side, you will leave full. When I get the steak, it is always cooked to perfection. They do serve seafood as well, but not my cup of tea personally. They are a bit pricey but you definitely get your money's worth.

I wanted to order a ribeye steak but after I saw someone else with it and it wasnt good looking at all. The chicken was good. The corn fritters and fries were the best part of the meal. Overall I think it is overpriced for what you get. I would go to a carryout only next time.

What a wonderful place to eat. They start out your meal with giving you relish trays that consists of bean salads, coleslaw, cottage cheese, and corn fritters which are all amazing. The fried chicken is so fresh and very delicious. It is not dripping and oil like other places. It is truly fresh and homemade. Would definitely go back for the food. The atmosphere has lots of antique clocks, beautiful fireplaces and there are also antique cars in the back along with tons of pictures and antique toys. Such a unique and awesome place. The family who owns it does such a wonderful job with the unique decor.

Absolutely love this place! Friendly staff, great food, never ending relishes.....cottage cheese, corn fritters, coleslaw, beets, kidney bean salad. The chicken and fish are both delicious and yummy desserts . Also a small museum to check out while you wait and so many different rooms all with a different theme. Petting zoo outside. Certain times of the year. Theres even a horse drawn carriage to take a ride on. Great place to go with any size group. I would highly recommend White Fence Farm!

Great place to eat, chicken is the best I ever had. After your done eating you can tour the free on site museum they have, it's a throw back to a time when life was much simpler. I highly recommend white fence farm.

The place is great and broad, the menu was delightful and the prices were very inexpensive. quick, effective service and very friendly staff. I highly recommend this place.

I've been wanting to go here for quite some time. Everyone raived about the chicken had to come try it. The place is huge! They have 11 dinning rooms and 500 parking spaces. The food was good we had the chicken and it was delicious. I had mine with fries. My mom had the fried shrimp and that was good too. A guy a table over was having the T-bone steak it looked amazing. They automatically bring out five condiments. We only had the beans and the corn fritters. Our waiter was good he was however very busy for our section. There is a few animals outside and you can buy feed at the exit for .25¢ to feed the chickens, goats, and Lama's. The kids loved that and they didn't want to leave. I gave it only 4 stars because it's a bit outdated, but the food was delicious. Would I come back... Probably not, been there done that.

This is one of my all time favorite restaurants. i have been going to the farm since I was a kid. We always make it a tradition around Christmas with my family to stop in, eat, and enjoy the decorations.

I eat in this spot a lot since I work in the area. I must say their customer service is always excellent and they keep the spot well organized at all times. Pricing is reasonable and they serve large portions.

Probably some of the best chicken you can eat. High quality food with great prices You can not beat these prices for this type of food. Love going here and i will forever come here. So many memories from when i was little when my uncle would bring us. This place has changed so much and it's for the better. I hope its around for many more years to come

Beautiful, homey atmosphere, lots of antiques and nostalgia from past Americana. Fried chicken and fixin's are good. Coffee weak and not hot. Service friendly and attentive. Prices seemed in line, maybe a tad high for this kind of venue. Place is a bit shop-worn - broken antique clocks, missing door hardware, bathrooms could have been cleaner. Easy entry for wheelchairs, but doors heavy and numerous. The grounds are nice.
